Policy Associate
Camilla Barbaduomo serves as a Policy Associate on the Medicaid Policy & Programs team at Aurrera Health Group. She works closely with clients within the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) on the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiative.
Prior to joining Aurrera Health Group, Camilla served as a Program and Policy Intern at San Francisco-based nonprofit Breast Cancer Prevention Partners. While there, she supported several projects and initiatives including the Non-Toxic Black Beauty Project, which addresses environmental injustice, and the Safer Beauty Bill Package, which addresses gaps in cosmetic safety.
Camilla holds a bachelor’s degree in global disease biology from the University of California, Davis, with a minor in political science. During her studies, she interned as an outbreak data liaison with the California Department of Public Health COVID-19 Surveillance Unit and worked as a research assistant in the UC Davis Health Anderson Lab. She also participated in campus and community organizations such as Girl Up, Girls on the Run, and the ASUCD Student Health and Wellness Committee.
Camilla is based in Burbank, California. She enjoys baking, being in nature, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Jujubean.
